With three booths the AMTC was present today at the 4th forum “Science, Technology and Enterprise”, event organized by the Ministry of Economy and CORFO and that aimed to bond the national science and innovation ecosystem with the productive sector.
The new complex of the University of Chile’s FCFM, located in 851 Beauchef, was the venue, which had a fair formed by more than 64 institutions (universities, excellence centers, transfer and licensing offices, government organizations and technological enterprises) exposing in 40 booths and presenting their researches, innovations and technological prototypes.
The AMTC was present in three spaces: the Delphos lab of mining planning; the FCFM booth where we showed the LHD loader (part of the research group in automatization) and in the Ingeniería 2030 booth, where the Husky A200 robot, capable of making terrain scans and building 3D maps , was shown.
The event included lectures by renowned international specialists, such as Bram Smith, general manager of KiwiNet, the New Zealand network of innovation and technological transference, and Daniel A. Gottschald, director of the Chemie Cluster Bayern. Also a “match meeting” was held, between representatives of companies and research centers, in which the AMTC was represented by Rodrigo Cortes, Manager of Technological Transference; Francisco Anguita, in charge of project forms, and researcher Andreina García, from the research group in water and environmental sustainability.
